About Military Veterans for Christ
Our Mission
Military Veterans for Christ provides military personnel (all active duty, reserve, inactive and retirees) with weekend spiritual retreats, access to faith formation resources, access to any and all federal government resources for dissemination of entitled veteran services and benefits, for involvement within their community through other activities, to develop a network of peers and for their personal healing and growth.
MVFC Veterans Retreat
If you’ve ever thought about going on a retreat but weren’t sure if it was for you… you’re not alone. Most of the veterans who attend our retreat felt the same way at first.

It’s time set aside to reconnect with Christ, to be around other veterans who understand, and to finally slow down and listen to what God may be trying to do in your life.
As you go through the retreat, you’ll start to realize you’re not alone. There are other veterans just like you, carrying similar things.
A lot of veterans come in unsure… and leave glad they came.
If someone or something has put this in your heart, don’t ignore it.
That may be God calling you.

Military Veterans For Christ Annual Breakfast Fundraiser & Silent Auction
Join us for a morning of great food, fellowship, and support for our local veteran community at the Military Veterans For Christ Annual Breakfast Fundraiser and Silent Auction.
This family-friendly event brings together veterans, military families, parishioners, and community supporters for a delicious breakfast while helping advance the mission of Military Veterans For Christ (MVFC).
For just $10 per plate, guests will enjoy a hearty breakfast featuring pancakes, eggs, potatoes, sausage, and a beverage. In addition to breakfast, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in our Silent Auction, featuring a variety of donated items and experiences.

Warrior Group
The Warrior Group is a veteran-focused gathering led by the PTSD Foundation of America and facilitated by a Texas Certified Peer Support Specialist.
This Warrior Group is not replacing our Monthly Fellowship Gathering. Our monthly fellowship will continue as scheduled and will remain focused on fellowship and building relationships within our community.

6th Annual Health & Wellness Expo
Military Veterans for Christ encourages veterans, active-duty service members, military families, and caregivers to attend the 6th Annual Health & Wellness Expo, hosted by the Bexar County Military & Veterans Services Office.

New MVFC Partnership – Equine Activity Event
Military Veterans for Christ is excited to announce a new partnership with New Tactics, Inc. to bring our veteran community a free Equine Activity Event.
This event is designed to give veterans an opportunity to slow down, connect with others, and experience personal growth through equine activities in a peaceful environment.
